Yeah, and because they put stupid people in charge of unimportant things like the power supply, they lose thier power like e200Paul did last year when the whole fucking place - all seven floors - went dark. You know ePaul200 is that world-class teleco hotel that everyone used to prop up on a pedistal.
Go look around over on webhostingtalk.com and search for e200paul power outages.
WI has four providers. They have two generators and two air conditioners. Thats all thats needed.
I have never been in a positon where I am completly down for more than a couple of minutes - except for the sceduled maintence when they replaced the main router.
But what I like most is the fact that when I call someone, there is no first level, second level and third level support. The person that picks up the phone (Aaron or James) are owners. They can do whatever they want, make deals and get shit done.
So fuck the corporate hosting experince. I was there. I had boxes at CI Host, Hostway, NectarTech and other such places back in the day. Bigger is not better.
Go with whoever you want. The 5% refferal fee I get isnt worth trying to twist your arm.
