You have to restore your system to the day before you installed WMP 9. It sucks and when I tried to do it... it did not reset and I'm stuck with WMP 9... but it works for some people and is the only way you can uninstall it.

The thing I hate is stupid quicktime player, honestly when I load a page that has a quicktime movie playing in the ie6 browser it locks up my system for 6-10 minutes, I honestly have to wait hitting Ctrl alt del 100 times and constantly trying to end all programs just to get my system back. this is winxp which is impossible (usually) to crash but Mac's quicktime software sure does a great job of fucking my system up.
