It is interesting that so many of you after watching the video want to turn Iraq and the Middle East into a glass parking lot. That is what Al Queda wants, do not put yourselves at their level, thats what they want. Well the link didnt work from me but if its anything reminiscent of the russian /cheq video then its horrible and I care not to try in vain to see it.
This world is fucked. so many fucked up things happen , this just happens to be one thats on film. People have non consciences anymore but more than anything I have to think that the people who carry out these malicious acts are a very primitive people with no real sense of what is right and wrong.
I saw the hahahahahahahahaary on how those kids are raised.. not allowed to play with toys and bred to HATE. Its a very sad situation and if our government had a brain bomb it and get rid of it so it cant breed anymore hate and show them that we wont put up with this kind of abuse.
Now on the other hand those American soldiers.. who did what they did to the GOOD yes good Iraqis.. there are some civilians there who are not haters and bad people.. it was very wrong... no one shold be tortured and humiliated especially when they ARE in fact innocent.
I know its easy for us to hate their whole country but its not the whole country.. then again it would be wise for the do gooders in us NOT to go there though as we see what happens to good people who go there to HELP....

What happened in that video can't be justified and placing the blame on anyone other than the people who were there is wrong. I can certainly understand the families? response but they are grieving and not thinking straight. Why was their son there in the middle of a war zone? Lots of people have decided to go over there and work because it pays well but at some point we have to stop and take responsibility for our actions. What makes someone say, "Gee it pays well I'll go get a job in one of the most volatile places in the world." He didn't deserve what happened to him it was wrong and disgusting but at some point he had to understand the dangers of being anywhere in Iraq.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.
I`m have no doubt that the last moments of this man`s life was filled with horror but at least his suffering has ended. I hope his family and loved ones are able to deal with this tragedy.
If there is such thing as a God I hope he/she/it looks comforts those touched by these events. Both Iraq and American
Many people are quick to point out that "war is hell" and scream "Get over it." Even more use this and any event to justify the actions of this conflict. I`m certain the Iraqis that did this action are making the same comments.
Perhaps the solution is not glass parking lots, torture, fences surrounding a country or beheadings. Maybe ithe solution is to not pointing a finger at each other and say "You started it." At some point perhaps we have to be adults and walk away from the conflict.
I still can be considered very anti american in my opinions. And I will continue believing the USA needs a serious cultural over haul. But I draw the line for my dislike far short of commiting crimes against humanity. Instead I`m very content to not cross the boarder and keep my personal and business dealings with non-Americans. We don`t have to like each other to get along and live peacefully.
To the best of my knowledge there is only one real warrior that existed in this world and that was Ghandi. Its a shame we don`t have people like him today. People that remain human by not giving into the anger and hatred and becoming identical to the monsters they must face.

This entire last week reminded me a bit of the photograph of the beheaded Vietcong with laughing US soldiers posing around them which can be seen in the "Museum of American War Atrocities" in Saigon.
