    Think youre smart? Try these physics mind twisters

    If you know these, you should seriously consider a career in physics - you could do that in your spare time when not working with porn =)

    1) At a distance H above the surface of a planet, the true weight of a remote probe is one percent less than its true weight on the surface. The radius of the planet is R. Find the ratio H/R.

    2) While moving in, a new homeowner is pushing a box across the floor at a constant velocity. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the box and the floor is 0.41. The pushing force is directed downward at an angle q below the horizontal. When q is greater than a certain value, it is not possible to move the box, no matter how large the pushing force is. Find that value of q.

    3) A skier is pulled up a slope at a constant velocity by a tow bar. The slope is inclined at 25.0° with respect to the horizontal. The force applied to the skier by the tow bar is parallel to the slope. The skier's mass is 55.0 kg, and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the skis and the snow is 0.120. Find the magnitude of the force that the tow bar exerts on the skier.

                Physics rocks ...these are just algebra.

                Use the metric system and dimensional analysis WITH
                F=ma
                times that by distance to get Energy ...
                divide by time to get Power ...
                divide by time to get Rate of Power ...
                keep dividing by time

                and you basically have every known formula.

                Unified Field Theory ... the cats meow ; )

                          # 1 has me stumped.

                          # 2 is: q < 67.7 °

                          # 3 is: 286n

                              I was leaning towards that too but was not sure.
