    CD Center Stage

    there's a show on the radio here called CD Center Stage, one a week, where they play a whole CD from a new release, prior to it's release. Very cool I think.... get to hear a new CD before it hits the stores so you can decide if it's worth getting.

    Is this on anywhere else or something similar? I'm not sure if it's a syndicated show from somewhere else or if it's local.

          clear channel (a huge evil media corporation in the east, they own everything, very cool) does that alot.

                  I did some work for Clear Channel a few years ago... they're not just east... they're everywhere. definately huge and evil.

                      ive seen radio stations get nasty letters from lawyers for only playing 1 song from an unreleased cd they werent supposed to have. very against the law.

                          this show usually plays it about a week before release.... sometimes only a few days... so I'm thinking it must be cleared with the record company as a promotion right before release...? maybe? Who knows. Anyway, I think it's cool.... get to hear more than the record company's preselected "hit" that will be run into the ground for months....
