Actually like said before what do you compare the design with? With conversions or just for the looks of it?
I know I am not the best designer out here, but I know my clients aren't complaining about the conversions. They pay a lot less then at some other "well known" designers and they get the same maybe better conversions.

Sponsors who use seek out lowball designers or plug shitty looking sites aren't worth the time it takes to sign up to their program.
Their ultimate goal isn't to convert to begin with, it's to get people to leave.
When you come across a prog with shitty sites, visit them, then peep their exit consoles... and see who THEY promote... then go sign up there.
MikeW gets what he gets for a reason, and he deserves it.
Anyone that would try and bash him because of it, i'd think suffers from a little bit of professional jealousy.Comment

MikeW did the design for Manhunter.com from Silvercash. Compared to what they payed for the content, MikeW was cheap And he is the best designer for a quality design around.
