Broke my leg, please help!

I went to take out the trash around midnight last night, and on my way to the dumpster I tripped on a crack in the pavement and landed on my right leg really hard. The second I heard a loud snap I was scared as shit that I broke my leg.

I hobbled my way back my apartment and had my roomie drive me to the ER. Took an x-ray and sure as shit, I snapped the fucker. Good news is it was a clean break, but I'm still pissed because now I'm hopping around on crutches like a gimp. How the hell do people live with bad legs? This is torture!

My big dilemma is I have no insurance and will now have to pay the ER bill. Expensive! I don't know the exact price, but I do know x-rays are very expensive. I really can't afford this right now and don't have many skills, so I'm pretty much SOL.

If anybody would be so kind and donate or even lend me a couple bucks to help pay my hospital bill and buy food (I can't work my real job with a broken leg... construction) I would be ever so grateful. My PayPal is [email protected]

A trip to the ER is typically $1,000 to $10,000.

I went in once just for food poisioning and all they did was give me saline solution via an IV. No x-ray's or anything. I was there for about 4 hours. The bill was about $1,500.

When my ex-wife had our baby, this one doctor gave her one shot in the back for that pain block they do when you're about to deliver. Just one little shot and he stopped back in to check on here 2 times in the following 6 hours for about 10 seconds each time. His bill was $2,450.

They justified it by saying from the time he puts the shot in to the time the baby comes out, even though the doctor isn't present, he is responsible if anything happens related to that shot and has to be on available, so they billed 6 hours of his time at just under $400 per hour.

I broke my foot.

Went to the hospital and the X rayed it and said ok you can go. I asked if it was broke and they refused to tell me saying that the report would be sent to my doctor and available to me within 7 days.

My Doctor thinks it broken but they can't do anything except give me painkillers till he gets the results........

Oh well, fuck it, I have so much painkillers I feel nothing
I can still do everything except walk properly and [lay football (soccer)

Sly_RJ I can tell you this yeah having a broke leg sucks for sure. I had a cast on mine for over a year and half about 8 years ago. I was driving down the interstate in the fast lane doing around 70. All the sudden this lady cuts infront of me but when she did she clipped my car, I went in to the retaining wall shattered my leg in three spots below the knee. I was disoriented got out of the car tried to stand up that's when all hell broke loss, I hit the ground that when my bone was exposed. Needless to say 4 operations later and a year and a half with a cast on. I can walk just fine but will have this steel rod in my leg for now on. Oh my doctor bills was over 75k I was 19 at the time. The lady didn't have insurance I guess my doctor took pity on me and had me setup through medicade and they took care of the bills . Thank God for that...
