    converting mpg to wmv with overlay

    im trying to convert a bunch of small mpeg files to wmv, and overlay a url. ive done this before with windows media encoder, but now the recent version is a bitch and i cant make it work.

    anyone have any suggestions for easy tools to do this? batch would be nice too.

    yes the search is still broken

          How about the other way around? I am looking for something to convert wmv to mpg with an overlay as well as avi, mpg, and asf to mpg with overlays. What is the best software to automate this for a large batch of files? Input would be greatly appreciated.

                      Yeah..I would second Vegas Video. You just can't beat this program for ease of use, and speed of editing with all the options it also provides.

                          Vegas Video will help Dawgy, but not me, right? As I understand it Vegas will not record in mpg format, will it? If so, it must require a plug-in that I do not have nor know where to get. Help appreciated once again.
