    DVD burning software - what do you use?

    So I picked up a DVD burner finally for those BIG ASS backups I have been meaning to do.

    I have roxio and nero 6 that came with it.
    I have always been a fan of nero cause it never messed up any cd's. Installed nero 6 but it seems to be buggy and have certain errors, so i did a search and its not just me.

    I really dont like roxios easy cd crap so thats not an option either.

    What does everyone here use as software to burn 4.7GB DATA backups?

      lol..am i the only one with a dvd burner?
      cmon people, tell me to gofuckmyself or something...

          I use nero 6.0 and love it.

          As for a backup, I have 4 external 200GB HD's for that.

              I use Nero 6.0 also and have never had a problem with it.
              I use it on an old win98 machine, and also with xp and win2000.
              Works well in all cases.

                  Im having issues with nero 6.
                  When i go to burn the 4.5 gb it keeps telling me drive is already in use.
                  Did some searches and seems to be buggy for alot of people.
                  Tried the recommended fixes but nothing works..
                  It can read cds and other crap, but it wont burn my dvd.

                  Im installing alcohol for now and seee what happens...keep em coming guys!

                      I use Roxio only because it came with my TDK burner. It's got all sorts of bugs, specially with audio. I will check out Nero 6.0. Is there anything else that might be better?

                          I just burned my first DVD with TMPEnc's DVD Author program. Worked pretty good!
