i quit smoking!

ive been smoking everyday for like 7-8 years. yesterday at a BBQ at my parents house, after we ate, i went to the otherside of the backyard to smoke so my smoke wouldnt go in everyones face. sitting there i finally came to realize how stupid smoking is. i put out the cigarette, threw away my pack, and havent smoked since!!

i have tried to quit a few times without success, but i think tis gonna work this time.

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

I quit for the second time last December - 4 months and 30 lbs later I said rather die thin on O2 then of a heart attack and a fat fuck so I started smoking again

good point... and now that you mention it, same goes for me. 18 years ago. Was in my friends basement, listening to Accept: "Losers & Winners", watching five of my friends get stoned to the bejeezus... and by the time it got around to me, I had finally come to the realization that smokin' that shit was probably the dumbest thing I've ever done. Only thing it ever did for me was make me sit on the couch feeling stupid. Wasted roughly 6 years smokin' that crap.

Anyway... while all this was running through my head, I declined the hit, got up and left, and haven't smoked it since.

cigarettes are a whole nuther story though.... shit is more addicting than crack.

yes.... YOU'RE the asshole who didn't care. I don't smoke in rooms with non-smokers. I don't blow smoke at non-smokers. I don't stink up the room. I don't even smoke in my own house. If I wanna smoke, I get up from my chair, go upstairs, go outside on the sundeck, and smoke there.

Don't pin your lack of respect for other people on me simply because I smoke.

See I think alot of people have the problem that somebody else wants them to quit! And of course your gonna fail, doesn't matter what you're quiting! But once you do it for yourself, you'll succeed. I failed about 6 times last yr, and haven't tried it since, because I don't feel the need to quit!

I quit for a year..and it was only going to the bar and people smoking beside me that made me start up again.Its like $7.50 a pack now..I gotta try again.But I smoke herbs..so it is sorta defeating the purpose.

I quit June 4th 2003 and have not looked back.

I smoked for 8 years. I LOVED smoking. LOVED it.

But, I am over that now. After day 3 is was easy man.

Keep up the good work man. It's all mind over matter.

The people who can't quit are mentally weak man.

Do you really want to end up in a hospital bed having your family smell your rotting body just because you wanted to smoke?

I fucking hate when they smoke in front of a happy non smoker like me.

Cigarettes is the biggest useless thing ever invented since Earth exists.

I still can't believe that today in 2003 some people are throwing their money in this shit it's useless and you are becoming weaker and weaker you are not good anymore in sports and things like that , your mouth smell like shit , your teeths are yellow as hell , you die younger , you get cancers easily , you spit a lot what else can I say about this shit ?

Quiting... Thats gata suck... I just payed $5.00 and some change for a pack, and im going to smoke the whole damn thing and enjoy it. Then i will go and spend another $5.00 and some change tommarow and buy another pack. I sure love smoking...
