    Pornographrs Gonna Dodge The Bullet?

    As the American dollar decreases in value and the economy falters not to mention all the other questions that will dog Bush it's becoming more likely than not that Dubya like his daddy will be a one term president and John Ashhahahahaha will be gone with him.

    So how would Bush losing the next election affect what's underway in terms of the DOJ's war on porn? Would a new Administration stop investigations and prosecutions already underway against pornographers? Not sure how automonous the beauracrats in the DOJ and FBI are, maybe what's underway will be pursued to its conclusion no matter if Ashhahahahaha and Bush are gone.......or maybe a new President not beholdent to the religious right will order Ashhahahahaha's anti-porn machine dismantled to resources spent on more important matters.

      Hopefully a Democrat will get back to the Clinton system - prosecute child porn and leave legal porn alone.

      When Reno was the AG, the number of child porn prosecutions went up and the number of obscenity prosecutions went down. Who would argue with that strategy?

      Protect kids from abuse, leave the constitution alone.

                  Bush is a War Criminal.

                  He needs to be arrested stripped of his Presidential duties and handed over to the United Nations to face Justice for crimes against humanity and breaking the pact of Non Aggression signed by all UN Nations.

                          Unfortunately the cases that are already filed will continue to be persecuted, as no politician wants to be seen as doing favors for porn business. However, I suspect the upside is that the justice department under a Democrat would treat porn much as it did under the Clinton administration.

                          Nevertheless what a lot of people fail to understand is that all of the damage that Bush, Ashhahahahaha and the rest of the Rethuglicans have already caused such as the truth in domain act, the protect act, new prosecutors, and so on will remain in place. That is the consequence of voting for a Rethuglican. I think so many people I meet on the Internet came of age during the Clinton presidency that they don?t remember what a Rethuglican Administration is like. Most of them bought into the rightwing propaganda that Rush, Hannity and all the other ditto heads spout. They are just now finding out what Rethuglicans are all about.

                              I think this goes a lot deeper than online porn or porn in general .

                              the internet is in direct competition with all other forms of entertainment, TV, movie theater, sports events, concerts etc.

                              I think thses other forms of entertainment TV in paticular are being hurt by the internet as an entainment form, and the word came down "tighten up on thses guys they are hurting our bottom line".

                              you have too much control over what you see and do on the net, they don't like that.

                              you ever get a popup blocker for TV?

                              at the bottom of this could be they are getting hurt and they don't like it.
