so i sign up for purecash

going to give chat room romeo a shot, and i get an email sayin that i cant send traffic untill someone gets back to me.. what the hell is that about? i would think with the amount of advertising they are puttin into this site that i would be able to change some of my links over and see how this does, tonight, tomorrow, now..

is it just me, or does this kinda thing upset anyone else?

They're paying per sign-up. It's to prevent fraud. I would do the same. In fact, I would even require an application process like the original Ox Cash.

yea it looks like it does, i think its a great idea, great site, i mean.. im thinkin that it would do really well with some extra traffic i have right now.. its ashame that i wont know untill someone wakes up and gets around to checkin out my info

I dont know, I am with the guy who started this thread.. When I signup, It is obvioulsy because I am ready to get started, putting up link codes and doing other necessary shit.. I hate to have to wait atleast 2 days for someone to "confirm" or "approve me" It would be the loss of the company anyways, and by the time they send the welcome email, I've already lost interest or found another sponsor.

Ox Cash did this initially and it worked out for the best in their case. Be patient, and in the mean time promote something else!

Basicly all of the posts here are correct. With the new Visa/Mastercard policies, it is extremely important that programs know each of their affiliates.

It takes a little bit longer, but it is worth while for EVERYONE involved. I know I personally appreciate programs that take the time to follow up with my account.

Those programs who run wide open will not be around much longer.

This weekend was a tough one as well.... Luke was in Miami catfhing the Fins game. I was on a cruise and had no access, and Buff was out in LA getting his groove on!!

I didnt mind waiting a few weeks but when they called and asked me to fax a copy of my drivers license I passed on the program, I enjoy what little anonymity I have, dont care to have copies of my dl floating around

We do the same thing these days. We want to know who is sending us traffic. If we do not know you, we may ask for ID or other business documents. Too much fraud, have to protect our asses. Sure, we may lose some traffic, but we will also scare away 99% of scammers.

First, PureCash does NOT give copies of any docuements to anyone. They certainly won't be floating around.

Second, we do not want to deal with people who are more comfortable to be anonymous. Anonymous raises many flags. We want to build relationships up with affiliates, partners, and vendors for good business.

Sorry you had to pass, but we would rather deal with a handful of responsible professionals then take risks on dealing with anonymous people. This is 2003 not 1998.

What job can you get without showing a form of picture identification? Besides weed pulling. You do realize this is a business, right?

When I got my first dedicated server, about 4 years back (mainstream shit), the hosting company required a photo ID, and a copy (front and back) of my credit card. At the time I really didn't think anything of it, it was part of doing business. I still think the same way.

Although, I would be hesitant to give any information like that to any "shady" programs or any programs outside of the United States.
