well, don't mean to be harsh, but the only way I can see it is that you're supporting a thief (just stop for a second and think: what makes you think a thief will pay your already publicly posted work?), you're downgrading your work and the value of your time and all this for... what? 40 (probably not paid) bucks? exposure? For what it worth, most people will put you in the bag of the CHEAP designers, that's for sure. But remember, as it's commonly accepted, cheap=not good (I disagree with this, but it's firmly stuck in the collective mind). And besides, if you take 40 dollars CONTESTS what will you charge a common work? 3 dollars? How many work will you need to get to make a living? At least one work per day and only if you live in a 3rd world country?
