                              i like to listen to music when i am working so the volume is high. The talking banners always seem to show up when i am looking for a new song to play so i hear it loud and clear

                                          The gong one is the only one that they made the sound track properly so it only runs once not repeatedly if you run your mouse over it a few times quickly ..

                                                              companies think a user taking "notice" is more important than that user's impression.

                                                              Perhaps research backs this, but hell, I boycott any company that resorts to invasive advertising tactics.
