If I have a site that recurs between $2-5 monthly and someone did a chargeback.. would the banks even bother to do the chargeback and not just give them the money?

It's not the amount that matters.
Most of the charge backs we get are on trials, and not the $39.95 monthly sales.
It's the wife breating down their back after seeing the credit card statement. People will charge back for $3. They made the decision they diden't do the charge so.........Comment

Who would chargeback? It depends. If the note on the credit card statement says "BABYFUCK.COM" or "HORSEPENIS.NET" is might be the kind of thing people will deny regardless of the money.
