    Best software to capture stills from video?

    I don't know jack about video editing but I recently shot about two minutes of Jessica Alba close up and want to get some stills from the video as there is some nipple action. It's in MiniDV format.

    What program do you guys recommend? A screen capture utility or is there something that will pull an individual frame?

          Adobe Premiere and that guy will do it for free because he wants to steal your work.

          edit: use the export to .jpg/.gif feature.

                              press "print screen" on your keyboard and just crop it with photoshop

                                      Virtual Dub and Adobe Photoshop.

                                      Scroll through movie in Virtual dub until you find the pic you want.
                                      Use keyframe scrolling to get a clear frame.
                                      Copy frame (CTRL-1)

                                      Either make a single shot in Photoshop OR
                                      Setup a macro to crop, filter, watermark, whatever else you need, and do a bunch in a row.
