7% of US homes have no power now.

8 Million of the 110 Million households in the US have no power and 3 Million may be down for up to a full week.

Anyone hear from Tom in Virginia?

Anyone else noticing a drop in traffic?

We were waiting until morning to call Va2k. Been watching the utility sites down there and further where my daughter also got some of it and saw that T wasn't back up power wise yet. (at least according the the elec co) And he was huddled up with his Mom too which is a little ways from him.

One of my best friends has 2 family members in Virginia and she tried calling them and the phone lines were down. No contact at all possible I guess.
