It's true, religion promotes war. Not just war, but conflict. It teaches people to hate others that think differently than the way they were taught to think.
I don't know how you could say otherwise. When I get emails from people telling me they're Christian, and I'm sleaze because I produce porn, what is that exactly? It's conflict. It's war.
Look at the Iraq war we're fighting. If you've read up on it, you're aware that Bush sent us to Iraq because he felt God had told him to liberate their people. That wouldn't have happened if Bush wasn't brainwashed by the church.
But we can all thank religion for all the fucked up things in the world. Fundamentally, that's where it all comes from.
