I'm sorry but you are wrong on this one. My apologies about the Opera mistake by the way. I'll prove to you that he didn't alter the fonts by himself, but because I feel a little sorry for him being accused of forgery.
Here are two screenshots I took from my own stats:
The first screenshot, as you can see, has an anti-aliased font.
The second screenshot has an aliased-font (also known as ClearType in Windows XP).
Now let's zoom in on both screenshots:
If we zoom in on the first screenshot, we get to see the following image.
Now, if we do the same thing with the second screenshot, look at the font. It looks very different from the first one, although it is the same text.
So, even though it doesn't look similar, it still is the same image. He probably uses a laptop (it is a smart thing to turn on ClearType because it improves readability).
Your mistake is completely understandable, but you were wrong nevertheless.
