A complete newbie question.

Yeah, it's true.. I don't know what n00bs do.

Since me and my GF are planning a move abroad in a few years, she thought she ought to learn the internet biz, so we still had 2 incomes instead of just mine, as she probably won't get a job right away when we move (especially if we go to spain, and she doesn't speak the language).

She has 0 knowledge on computers to begin with, not to mention internet.. what do you suggest I do with her, she'd not a whore enough to become a camgirl. Are there any REAL newbie boards etc around? I think GFY would be a bit too harsh for here in the beginning.

I was thinking of teaching her to do galleries, and maybe a tgp or something first. (isn't that how everyone does it)

What is the EASIEST wysiwyg html editor?

She can't really fail since I'm paying all the expenses, and doing all her designs she'd happen to need..but it would be nice if she managed to make a profit within the first 2 years

SUGGESTIONS please.. I'm not looking to make her a millionaire, but something small. $1-2k/month within the first 6 months would be nice. This can easily be done by submitting galleries, but I'm looking for other alternatives as well.

She's not starting from point 0. I can probably talk to the tgp owners I have partner accounts with to give her one. I will also make her the galleries, buy content etc. It's not like I'm not there to help her with any possible questions she might have. (I didn't have anyone, and look how pretty I became).

TGP and MGP are pretty hard for a complete newbie. She doesn't understand the concept, probably won't be able to figure out UCJ and it would be too much work (for me) to teach her that.

A good option imho would be an avs she'd promote with galleries, maybe make a tgp that only lists her own shit and so forth. it's pretty straight forward, no?

..and I'm off.

Anyways, you failed to see my point. She has a job, but since we're leaving the country to a place where she will NOT get a job, it's wiser to teach her this now, not after we leave.

I have TONS of crap jobs I could make her do, resizing pics, filling hundreds of gallerytemplates with pics etc.. BUT I don't want her to get bored the first week she does this. I want to teach her with something relatively fun.

Newbie Webmasters is a great board we run for people just starting out. Its really friendly. We even have a few big boys that like to drop in and share their perls of knowledge. Everybody should check it out .. even if you're not a Newbie.

Why limit her to the adult industry? If your going to Spain, buy her Flash/Director and have her take some courses. Have her build a small portfolio and shop it to some companies in the areas you are considering moving to. 2k a month in the real world (after taxes) is around a 30k salary. She should be able to get a junior placement as a flash/ director designer/ programer for that.
The reason I say Flash/director is because it is used more heavily in Europe than in the US.

Working with someone you love is not easy or as pleasant as you think it would be. It can become competitive and cause a lot of tension between you 2, if you aren't careful. I should know, I did it for several years. It can drive an unmendable wedge between you guys, because then money will become an issue. Who is getting more traffic, more sales, more this, more that. You think it couldn't or wouldn't happen... you'd be surprised how quickly the tide turns.

Dreamweaver is the best wysiwyg around and easy to navigate. You may also want to teach her using Photoshop and Image ready for those banners that she will be using later on if she plans to do some tgp designs and postings.
