visa is looking at them as High Risk transactions they either are good transactions or bad transactions there isnt an inbetween.
Free trials exist in the NON-adult industry just the same way, Its the sponsor that makes the decision if they feel its harming their chargeback ratio.
If you honest about what your charging then the user wont chargeback, When sponsors add on 3 trials on a single free trial and the guy gets a bill for $120 on his visa he calls and says " i never bought that " this makes you look like your processing lots of fraud charges.
Visa could care less about free trials money is money .
Fraud in the adult web industry prob isnt much different than fraud in regular web industry other than the fact that people are charging back stuff more often in the adult industry even when they really bought something, mostly because of the previously mentioned item.
