Kobe's head of security notified cops of the letter received, not sure that they actually put any money up. They did not show film of the sting yet, but is was a sting.

Speculations anyone?
nah, the mafia guy initiated the contact by mail. he probably sent it direct to Kobe. said he would take care of the "problem" for $3 million Kobe gives it to his security, they contact the cops.
Guess the deal was $1 mill up front, balance on completion of job (designers please take note, even hit men get money up front)
So they set up the meet, and when they hand him the money, they pop him for conspiracy (there will probably be some nice charges by Monday's arraignment)
I don't believe that the accused had anything to do with this, but it just goes to show the amazing amount of pressure applied to accusers in such situations.
Arguing whether the Democratic or Republican party is better is like debating which steaming pile of shit is slightly less stinky.

no one said Kobe had anything to do with it. The hitman just offered his services, unsolicited.

Okay, I read your post again, and what did you just say?
accused and accuser are exactly the opposite. Are you saying the chick did not have anythig to do with it, or Kobe didn't?
