I started reading quite a while before I registered. This isn't my first username... I still have my first handle with 8 posts (I think), which was registered in early April 2001.

I remember seeing the postcount rise and rise, and thinking, "shit, every time I post, my postcount goes up by 3"...

i lurked for a while too. started reading sometime in July (whenever summer 2001 internext was - i was in someone's room, and they had gfy loaded... first time i laid eyes on it).
