HIV/AIDS in the US and most civilized nations is still about 70 to 80 percent passed through unprotected homosexual anal sex, second would be via needles for drug users, third place is only a fraction at about 5 percent and that would be straight people unprotected.
there are not a ton of new cases every year, much less than 100's of other diseases and with very simple measure to protect yourself your chances of getting HIV/AIDS are like winning the lottery. so for those who get HIV/AIDS the majority of them are just simply irresponsile and that's the bottom line.
go cry about a disease that is really hurting and killing people and much harder to save yourself from like cancer and so on, instead of pitching this big bullshit sympathy shit about HIV/AIDS

What a relief. I guess I imagined the fact that I've buried dozens more friends as a result of AIDS than of any other disease or accident.
Actually your facts are probably fairly accurate. But for those of us who lived through the 80's AIDS epidemic...it's just not something to blow off. AIDS is a hideous, horrible disease that destroys the infected person in ways cancer and heart disease don't even think about. It took so many of my friends.
As recently as four years ago, I watched one of the smartest people I've ever known become reduced to a blathering idiot as AIDS took his mind away. It was simply horrible. I can't describe it and I don't want to. AIDS is pure evil. It is not to be taken lightly.
