Hey CD... I used to drive rigs, and I once had a load of sewer pipe that I took up somewhere way north of the Georgian Bay... couldn't get a load back out that day and stayed in some small town right around the top side of the bay there somewhere. Anyway, I got bored and went to this bar down on the corner. Didn't know anyone, obviously, but after just one beer... everyone in there pretty much knew I was not Canadian. The cool part was everyone in there was fuckin' hella friendly! Man, they bought me beers, I bought them beers, and we all had a fuckin' fun-ass night in there, shootin' darts and bullshit. They were makin' fun of me cuz I couldn't handle their "real beer", (which WAS alot stronger than I was used to, but about the same as beer in Germany)... and yes.... every single one of them ended their talk with "eh"...
It was funny to me, but the overall experience was pretty damn cool. That's the kind of treatment I only ever experienced in out of the way places like small German towns.... a few places in Llorett De Mar, Spain... Denmark... but you go to a bar here in the states? Better mind your own business and hang onto your wallet.
No.... I don;t know where I was going with this.... just your last post reminded me of all that.... so there ya go.
