hmm every now and then outlook doesnt show the new messages it just downloaded... really frustrating because this is happening to the account with all my important emails ...it says geting my new emails finishes getting them but it doesnt show them

Do you use rules to sort your mail? Sometimes it won't run rules, and all the new messages will be in the Inbox. Might not be your problem, but running rules on Inbox will tell you.

Sounds like you just need to change your "Sort" by clicking on Received.Comment

its normal for Outlook when retrieving emails after installing a fresh copy. Mine, it took me more than a week before i am able to use it normally. Better leave your Outlook open the whole day to fully retrieve all your mails.
i have accumulated around 500Mb that's why it took me that long to get them all.Comment
