I would have never joined if I knew that we were allowed to have a production crew to work on our stuff for us...truly I would not have.. it would hold no value to me that I completed nothing on my own ..just my
btw i think her pic is fabolous.. just a bit disillusioned as to what the rules have changed to since the contest started.

I hear what you're saying but Lensman actually said "None of the competitions will require nudity, maybe a wet t-shirt or so.
And although some people may have someone to help with a competition or two, each contestant will have to be involved each week." in
the initial thread. He said the contestants have to be INVOLVED each week, that doesn't mean doing everything alone.
I agree that if someone is just POSING in the pictures like a brainless doll, then they shouldn't win. Although it might be a challenge to tell with a lot of contestants how much credit they should get for each entry, I have faith that the final decisions will rest with people who are regulars on the board and will be able to tell by the girl's posts (or lack of posts) how much she actually contributed to the final outcome. If that's not obvious, than the girl probably doesn't post enough to win anyway and they did say regular posting will have an impact on how the girls are judged.
As far as doing everything alone, I don't see that as making a girl better qualified. The way I see it, a photographer or make up artist is a resource the same as a camera or the money to buy fancy props. If a woman is running a successful business she will probably have resources that a less successful person won't or a person who is running a different KIND of business won't have. My point is that none of us are on an even playing field since many of us do totally different things in this industry, but if someone is successful enough to have really good resources I don't think that should disqualify them (for example, the alphabet soup girl obviously has some very nice resources in terms of camera equipment -- that doesn't mean she should get less credit for it).
It would be great if somebody would put up money for a contest that was for female WEBMASTERS only . . . but I don't think that's necessarily what this contest is about. I am not saying that I think Malezia is the brains behind her business . . . I really don't know enough about her to agree or disagree with you there but I am assuming the judges will figure that out and/or the other challenges will even the playing field.
