I suppose everything is debatable
To me, though, Fawlty Towers is arguably the <I>world's</I> best comedy series with Blackadder right behind. The only other series that holds up to Fawlty Towers and Blackadder, in my opinion, is Married... With Children but they are so different as to make comparison almost impossible.
