    someone that plays battlefield 1942..

    do I have to patch the game up or soemthing to play online? I have version 2.4 I think and everytime I try to play online I get "failed to connect to server". Yes, my internet is running

      Rerun the patch, close it all down and rerun it, if all else fails reboot computer, its a bug its always had after an update.

              Battlefield Vietnam is bad ass.. BF 2 is coming out..it's just going to be a better version of Desert Combat...

                              2.4? You mean 1.4? And yes.. 1.4 is way too old. You won't be able to access any servers at all.

                              You need 1.6

                                  Ive played single play so far and its pretty good.. I suck ass at flying the airplanes though!
