Only one has really fucked me over royally. It was a guy I thought was sort of a friend of mine. He was having serious problems with his girlfriend and he has two small kids and he claimed he was broke and needed work really badly so he could pay rent and buy food.

I paid him to design some galleries for me. I couldn't afford much at the time but I gave him all that I could at the price he offered me.

Weeks went by. No word from him except a private message on another board telling me that he was having some problems and he'd have the galleries done in a few days.

Meanwhile I saw him having galleries listed on a regular basis on some huge TGP's, so I assumed the bit about him needing money badly was a total lie. One major TGP was listing him almost every single day.

If I had been in a position to, I would have GIVEN him the money, but it was at a time when our income had dropped substantially and I really couldn't afford it. But I needed galleries pretty badly so I decided to work around it and we just cut back on expenses for a few days.

One thing I learned from it... if you can't afford to lose it, NEVER spend money on something that isn't absolutely CRITICAL because ANYONE can screw you over. Even those that you think are your friends.

not too many really, it was worse years ago but since i just do free sites the only way i can be ripped is if a sponsor doesn't pay. had one sponsor i made 3k with not pay, and one dialer that got sued still owed me about 4k. and a few little things here and there.

Back in the day, I had to fuck over an affiliate once

He racked up all these sales... and then out of the blue in chat (and I had not chatted with him very frequently at all)

He sais... "Hey guess how old I am

"

Me..."Uh... 18?"

He sais.... "haha no I'm only 16... pretty good salesman for a 16 year old huh?"
