    The board time has changed - will this affect the 2M contest?

    This morning the board timestamps on post were synchronized with eastern time - now the board is 7 hours AHEAD of eastern time. As I type this it's 11:09pm on the 16th.

    Did the server get reset today? If so, will the server time be resynched before the 2M post?

              well i just changed my time zone settings... so now apparently i live in either Eniwetok or Kwajelein (-12hrs)

                      yeah i had the same problem, so just change your zone settings to "butt-fuck-nowhere" like i did and it'll be back to 11pm on the 16th...

                              What does time have to do with the 2 mil. post? It will come right after post # 1,999,999... time is not a factor here.

                                  I put PDT on my guess. I hope they accept that and not the board time.

                                                              True dat, but if the board time is hopping around then you're bound to get some folks screaming that the winning post was made at a certain time, then the board time changed and showed another time, so people must be 'fixing' the contest... ya know?

                                                              I made a winning post on the Pond for the 100k post when I was *not* an employee of theirs, someone got a burr up her ass because she said I "took it away" from her and accused me of being an employee - more than a year later she's STILL got that burr up her ass. I just don't wanna see that shit happen here, it spoils the fun for everyone involved.
