i THINK i've personally done that though and it worked fine. (can't remember for sure it wasn't on different cards though.)

i got no data to back this up but maybe it's a good thing to take the wind out of the sails of those surfers who do nothing but buy trials and suck down half the members area content. the ones who really are interested in a site will buy a month membership.
on a pay per signup program getting rid of those serial trial buyers is a good thing.I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!Comment

I have been asking CCBill for ages to make an option where I can say "one trial ever per user". The people who sign up for a trial once every few months aren't really good for business.

I think if this is true processor wide... its a hell of a deal. Per site would not be that great because most sites don`t do 10k sales a day.

Guys... to clarify, this is checked on a site by site basis, not across all sites in our system. And, the surfer can still signup for a full membership, just not a trial within that time frame.
