The people I ran it by are respected on this board and in this business so I would hope that what you said doesn't come to pass. Even so, not everything was given away ;)

If you want in, all I ask is 20% of the paysite profits/intellectual property, licenses, derivative sites, etc.., a hand in running the paysite, and exclusive rights to calling myself "originator/the creator of said niche".

Seriously, I've run this by a couple of people in this business and they thought the idea was solid, it just needed a certain amount of money to make it go. So, I did some tweaking and I think it can be made to work for much less than originally thought.

it is really hard to come up with something totally new..maybe a new take on a niche or fetish but I'm almost willing to bet it isn't totally new.

bump for the day crowd..on the responses I've received, it's unanimous -- everyone says the idea is a winner. The problems seem to be related to producing the idea...whether that be time or money. I believe I've got the money issue in hand.

You've gotta ask yourself, though, if you had a chance to be a major player in an entirely new niche that is going to be very popular would heaven and earth have to hold you back to become a part of it?

I think it's great that you have a 'new' niche

many of us have 'new' ideas but in reality 100 other guys are thinking about doing the same or it's allready done

not to put you down, but the fact that you cannot cough up 10k to start your own lineup or whatever it maybe just doesnt sound too good to me...

this industry is not really a 'get rich quick' biz, so my advise to you would be to prepare for failure ( have a backup plan) in the case your original plan does not work
