I almost died toinght

I was at mcdonalds spending my TCG check with like 3 of my friends ( yes we all got our food from the dollar menu ) and well i was eating my frys and all the sudden i was choking .. ive never seriously choked on food before but this was serious i coudnt breath and everyone in the fucking place was just standing there doing NOTHING just staring at me .. im sitting here grabbin at my throat choking .. cant breath face is all read ... for like a good minute and a half ( that is a fucking long time when you are choking ) then finally some lady gives me some fucking water .. i just thru it on the ground and started hitting my chest and it came up ... what a fucking crazy night ...

now i really see how people are ... dont even help you if you are fucking dieing

When I was a kid my sister got a candy lodged in her throat. My dad had to do that himeleck squeeze to get it out. She looked scared as shit. Got to watch for bones and things in your food. Those can be nasty if you swallow and they get lodged.

Another couple funny things from childhood I'm remembering now. Stock an M&M up my bro's nose and its true what they claim they don't melt. Fucking thing got stuck up inside his nostril. He was freaking out and I was laughing thinking it would drop out in a moment, but it actually got stuck cause he was inhaling. Finally my dad yanked it out with tweezers.

He also got his tongue stuck to ice crystals on the fridge door. That was funny as heck too.

You can self-administer the heimlich manuver if you are choking. If fact you did it, to a certain minor extent, when you pounded your chest.

Wrap your hand around your fist and place the ball created by your two hands just under your diaphragm. press that ball against a wall or post, hard and fast. Or lean over a chair or table, ball your hands under your diaphragm, and let your weight drop down, forcing your chest and lungs to contact under pressure and blowing out the lodged object.

Knowing you can self-administer the heimlich is very comforting.
