Now there is an idea Jimholio!! No way they will give him to the Ave's, but NY different story. I am sure that Cujo is not thrilled being the back up...hell I am not thrilled, after all it wasn't his fault totally last season!
Good old Hassack...Have to agree with you on that one! Stopped cheering for Buffalo when he left!

Detroit is bummed it did not work out...Ken Holland thought Cujo was going to go the distance in Detroit and finish his career with a cup or two...
He is not a back up goalie...it is going to require a big buyout from a big money franchise (NEW YORK!) but he is worth it in the right environment.
CUJO would be the biggest thing to hit the Big Apple since the blackout

It's unfortunate that things turned out this way for him. I am the biggest Toronto fan and was upset to see him leave. I thought for sure that boy was going to finally get a chance to win the cup.
Your correct it will take A LOT of $$ to take him away from Detroit, I can see them being selfish that's for sure...
NY would have a shit load to gain by grabbing him...I say make that call LOL

Somehow I knew you'll say this. But why cant I dream for a second?
I am a hockey fan and my team is the Washington Capitals. On paper they have a good team but I think it will be a dismal season. Their first game will result in a loss 2-1.

Yes I meant first regular season game...Toronto is in Europe as well atm =)
Calgary and Vancouver will be a great game...I chose Vancouver, tough call though.
The only team that doesn't get too much support, but always kicks ass, are my New Jersey Devils. With a goalie that stops almost everything shot at him, and a defenseman captain that has the cleanest but hardest check in hockey, along with loads of young, and super fast and agressive scorers, no one stands a chance, yet again. It's all about the Devils.

1 MAN HOCKEY?
We got Deader and Allison in the 1st line along with newcomer veteran Klatt, who can be replaced with young Frolov if Klatt cant handle a top-6 job. In the 2nd line we have Stumpy and Robitaille back to put with Ziggy Palffy just like 2 years ago when we kicked red wings from playoffs 1st round. Then in the 3rd line theres solid faceoff man Eric Belanger along with Sean Avery that is great at getting under your skin and long time KINGS enforcer Lapperierre. And finally in the 4th we got plenty of beef with Flinn or Brennan centered by Chartrand to kick some asses on the ice when needed.
Also we got Cechmanek.
If its a fucking 1 man hockey then I eat my socks...

The Rangers actually wanted CUJO over the summer but they wanted to trade Lindros for him. The Wings aren't too fond of Lindros because he's too injury prone.

Very true- Not much support but they got a very talented team. Not to mention their minor league team is top notch as well. With emerging stars like Madden, Rupp, Giranta. (sp?)
Langenbrunner was on fire during the playoffs. Their veterans also played well. Very tough team to beat

I don't blame any team for not wanting him! I am sure glad that Toronto didn't take him. Instead we opted for Gilmore and he only played what one game LOL and then there was Nolan...
