Hockey Fans....

If your a hockey fan, who is your team, do you think that your team will win the first game? What is your score prediction?

My team

The LEAFS! They are playing Montreal for the home opener and it's here in Toronto and I am going...I say the Leafs 4 Montreal 1 =)

well ..looks like Colorado Avalanche will have some decent team and powerful attack force this season .. I can't even imagine what happens when Selane and Karyia teams up again

Well, The Edmonton Oilers get a good start to their season, They play Calgary this thursday as their first game, I think the oilers are going to kick their asses, But there is no better hockey than those two teams.

Huge Hockey fan here:

Detroit will be a strong team this year even without Federov. He's a great skater, player, but I think the team will play even better without him there. Hatcher was a huge signing for them even though I personally don't think he's a top 10 defenseman

Leafs: Are they going to play this year or fight? Now they have Marchant who is known as a goon as Domi is.. But I will say Domi has cleaned up his game and has put up decent #'s for a guy who's known for gooning...

Avs: Yikes, Imagine their power play. Sakic, Forsberg, Selanne, Kariya and Blake. Big question mark is their goalie who isn't a proven goaltender in the NHL yet. Watch for their GM to make a big move to get a top 5 goalie..he always does make a big move.

Stars: Get Turco signed. He's holding out for more money even though the Stars offered him 4 million over 3 years. In order for the Stars to have a good year, Turco will need to be in goal.

Oilers: Always have been a hard team to play against. Salo has to have a strong season along with their defense.

Sabres: They will finish a little above 500 this season. They just can't seem to win the close games.

I'm not sure if they will do better than last year, but they have made some pretty good additions to their team (Hedberg, Arvedson etc)

They are definetly the most exciting team to watch.

I'm also pretty excited about the Avs. If they can pick up Kolzig, which is the big rumor right now, then I'm picking them to go far in the playoffs.

this is so true... just read some stuff on it, turco missed the first meeting before camp stars. GM said it looked like they were going seperate ways. fucking last 2 summers have sucked for the Stars. going into this season w/o some familiar faces.
