normally i wouldnt mind spam but this is really shitty spam, and its coming like 15 times a day.

I fowarded each one to [email protected] TCG, sent about 10 spamcop reports, and reported it to his webhost at acceleratedweb.com. The remove link doesn't work...what a fucking surprise...

his domains sluthq.com and addporn.com.

The spams came from different places, most likely open or stolen proxies. Another lowlife spamming fucktard.

A few points. Don't expect support from many on this board. Like this quote:

Many are in the spam business directly or indirectly profit from it , so they don't really give a shit.

If you look at TCG terms of service, they are a pretty SPAM friendly sponsor, but this guy has really crossed the line. I don't think they (TCG) are the real source of the problem, but you should make sure he doesn't get paid and TCG should terminate his account for you.

I would try to shut down his domain.... sluthq.com . His webhost is at [email protected]. He is loading the images for the ad from this domain so if you can shut him down there, he is fucked for a few days at least. Acceleratedweb does NOT seem to have many spam complaints so its worth a shot and maybe we can get a quick kill that way.

Im getting emails from his asshole too. He's sending it to the email that I signed up to Triplexcash.com webmaster program with. However Chris has ruled out they sell or rent emails. Im just wondering if this is the case with anyone else?

I think it's funny how some anti-spammers will bend over backwards to try to term someone. Personally a mail box full of junk postal mail annoys me much more than spam ever will.

1-) Hosting comes a dime a dozen. It can be replaced in 3 minutes. And many hosting companies have become quite liberal in letting people get away with spam related issues, because they have so much competition, they need the business.

2-) Most spammers don't need anything but landing pages. If they are smart, they aren't going to host their landing pages, on a server that also has a few gigs of content on it. So like I said, they will just move the small pages they need, to another host within minutes.

3-) Sponsors can also be replaced just as fast. Making reports probably won't bring him down, slow him down perhaps until he gets another host/sponsor, but they will bounce back in less time than it takes to "try to bring them down".

4-) How do you know, that affiliate didn't purchase a list from what he believed were double opt-ins?

I would think that if someone was smart enough to get that webmaster list he would have been smart enough to sell it to some kind of referal program instead of a spammer.

So if you get e-mails from another referal program then for sure let me know.

There are only 3 people who have access to the admin area and I know that the three including me would never compromise webmaster information

There has to be another explination for this. I am in contact with the right people to get some answers on this guy.

Traffic Cash Gold and Triple X Cash are long standing programs that you can trust.

i had sent one sponsor some opt in mails and a month later i got a email saying they got complaints and they would give me a new account to mail with. I was not even spamming just sending to a double opt in list.It's not worth it trying to get a spammers account termed. If has a deal with the sponsor they will just give him a new account.

Exactly.

But this sounds like a conspiracy to me. What kind of spammer, sends an excess amount of spam to a list of other webmasters? Sounds like "someone" is trying to make Traffic Cash Gold look bad. Bringing this up on a board, on a weekend no less, is just plain wrong.

TCG allows opt-in mail, but you also have to provide them with a working remove addy.

It's not TCG's fault for what a webmaster spams to someone, they can deal with it, as they see fit but calling them on it, on GFY isn't appropriate and does nothing, but make an upstanding company look shady. And I can assure you, TCG is one of the best affiliate programs in the market. They pay every week, on time, they give you excellent support/communication and there have been times, when they had techincal problems, that they have given us sales, that we didn't even get, to compensate for downtime.

from 3 different programs, they always seem to send them out the same time their news letters come out. I understand if we signed up for the monthly/weekly letters we receive to see what new products they have in store for us
but shit dont throw spam are way.

TCG is not a spam friendly sponsor, especially after the AOL incident a few years back and I know this guy has nailed the hell out of my email as well. Either way, we were all in Phoenix this weekend for the top webmaster retreat so they should get to your complaints soon enough.

I've been getting these for a while now and have sent a countless number of emails to their abuse department with no response. Usually sponsors care about this type of thing but it is obvious that TCG does not.
