    A free counter, with invisible mode.

    As the adult webmaster i am, i need counters to track referers and such to my sites. Now, aren't there any free counters with invisible mode anymore, which supports adult sites? .. Thecounter.com used to, but it costs cash now..

    Now to my real thought... as i write this, i use my own counter-service (not made for me, for a company) to track my sites.. but then i realized, a free counter (which tracks OS, browser, and referrers) which has invisible mode, could be an attractive product.

    Now what's your opionion on this subject? If you know any free counters with invisible mode, let me know..

          That is not my question, i was wondering if this would be a hot (free) product these days? as i don't see many other counter services which offer the same stuff..

              I also searched for invisible counters some time ago. And found one - www.megatracker.com
              It supplies an invisible counter for adult sites at fairly cheap prices. If traffic is below 25,000 hits per month, it only costs $10. If traffic is about 1,000,000 hits per month, it would cost $220. And it seems that if you sign-up for their hosting service (www.sexxxave.com), that they supposedly give out free invisible counters.

                      There are tons of counters what you can setup on your own server http://www.cgi-resources.com/
                      Also, some hosters gave access to server logs and some of them actually cool

                          Personally i'd stick with the server stats and perhaps track why your traffic is leaving your site

                                          Shit - I like PayCounter too much...

                                          I have lots of server-side counters that are free, but I never use them. I know where my surfers are going, I just like to know which of my websites are getting the best traffic and where it comes from.

                                          But the best part is it is a banner that pays $0.05 per click. I really like that. The only thing better than free is something that pays you to use it...

                                          But, down to answering your question... yes - it is a good idea. Go for it.

                                              You can use a log analyzing software instead of a counter, but to get real-time statistics that way is next to impossible.

                                              Most of the counters that I've seen do not have actual real-time stats; there is always some kind of a delay. The only counters that display real-time stats is megatracker.com in USA and spylog.ru in russia
