Sponser Needed for Local Soccer Team

The team is Lawnswood Rangers AFC and we currently are looking to raise £300 which will be used to purchase match balls, a strip and two nets for when we play home matches.

What the sponsor gets in return is their name screen printed on a full teams kit, name on all the club stationary and local press coverage. The kits tend to last 3 seasons 2 at the very least.

What does that work out to in US money?

I have a mainstream business I could promote... Where are you? and is there need for good web designers there? my mainstream compane is NBDesign... www.nbdesign.com... Things have been slow.. could use a kick in the ass to get it going again.

We will put your logo, URL on our kit, if its clean enough then we can get some local press coverage.

Also we will put a board up at each of our games. The Kits are used for 2 -3 seasons and we play 40 or so games.

Maybe I should have asked GFY

Yea, that would be pretty cool.

Let me think about it for a bit... I am not sure of yor time frame... so.... if you get someone don't wait for me.. Would be pretty cool to be international... Although I do sell a lot of my scripts to European countries... this might be something I may do.. but again, I need to think about it for a bit... way too tired to make a rational decision.

Let me tell you about sponsoring a footy team. Its all good so long as they're a good team and you get press coverage. You should also attend their player of the season gig. A good night out by all accounts. You should have your photo taken with the player of the season and then plaster this delightful side of your nature all over the internet. Bobs yer uncle they think you're a nice man to deal with. Plus, I'll tell you what, Ive done it before and the team and results excited me, there's a sense of being, a real sense of being, a belonging. OK I know I dont get that feeling at the moment and I want it back but its seriously worth it. So come on y'all and get sponsoring teams. I might consider returning to the fold myself soon. Sounds great.. if I were there.. I'm here in Phoenix and they are way over there... Leeds is it? May not be worth it for me then... especially since I don't fly, I could never make it over there for any games, photos or anything...

we had our pre season bash last week, it ended up with me a sleep on the floor in the club house while the team captain got laid laid with some blonde lass who follows us.

We all got well an trully smashed before my GF dragged me home, god help help us on the end of season bash.

Are we a good side yes, we should win something and our manager has the contacts to get us in the paper at least once.

We played with tem men on sunday and lost 3 - 2 I gave away a penalty as some one was about to score so I kicked him up in the air.

I just thought that it would be easier to get an adult sponsor for a sport which played by guys and fueled by beer and ladish behaviour.

It would be fantastic for this board to have its own team, I understand its a lot of money to ask though I do think its worth it and as daves pants said its something to get the blood going.

The way I see it, Phoenix or not, being a part of it, seeing the photos of the lads running around green faced on a sunday morning after countless Tequila slammers with the name of your company on their shirt would be a glorious opportunity to any man. You could even set up your own web site to show this character abdab_1 playing like a shithouse every week, hacking players down and the likes. In my mind alone this seems like a quality opportunity. How much did you say Chimp? I'll say it right here and now, if there are any girls football clubs that need sponsoring I will reconsider my position and re-enter the sponsorship market. I will also change the name of my company to suckmytits.com. The way I see it rarely does an opportunity to sponsor come along so cheaply as the penalty kings. In the immortal words of ming the merciless - "Kill this Flash Gordon they speak of" allegedly of course. Seriously though, who wants a steak and kidney pie?

Most of the team support Leeds though I support Arsenal being from the N5 area and we also have a liverpool fan.

We play in Lawnswood - North Leeds

BTW We drew 1 - 1 this sunday we all had to sport white t shirts coz we aint got a kit ;-)
