I find it funny how many Americans (and others) here seem to consider this a "good" thing. Are you guys on crack? Those police people are on *your* side. They are needed to take over Iraqi security from the American soldiers.
Something like this happening will most certainly stop quite a few from joining the police force. After all, if they join, they already get threatened/attacked/killed by anti-American groups in Iraq. Knowing that the Americans will kill them as well won't exactly be an incentive to join the police.
So, what does that mean? This will make it just a slight bit harder to establish the much-needed police control, so Americans will have to stay just a slight bit longer in Iraq, and just a few more US troops will get blown up or shot by the anti-American groups.
Someone here said "If you shoot enough towelheads, eventually they will get the message". And indeed, if you shoot enough of your allies, eventually they will get the message. Might not be the message you were thinking of though.

theres the story. CNN mentions nothing like the original post does. they were in an unmarked vechile. the troops didnt know who they were and kept firing. they'd all be hung if they kept firing once they knew who their target was. i dont consider this a good thing at all. its amazing how people are already blaming bush for this, like he somehow has a joystick controlling everything that happens. typical

Blaming Bush? I didn't even mention the retarded little monkey.
Aside from that, the only thing I am commenting are the pro-american fuckwits who think this is a "good thing". And no, I am not calling them fuckwits because they're pro-american, but because they think shooting your most-needed allies is good.

If only the same inability to think prevented them from voting.
It was obviously an "honest" mistake though, it's a shame to see the braying dolts rejoicing it, mainly for themselves though. How can you be happy about shooting yourself in the foot - even accidentally?
