              I don't think anyone knows you better than RedShoe, perhaps he could do it. I would do it but I don't think it would be right (you know, nepotism and all). Then the next day people were being flamed, important posts were being dropped off the board almost as fast as they go up, just so some GFY newbie, could let everyone know he hit 100 posts. Or that a fellow GFY'er is an asshole.

                                                                                              Funny how he knows you that you can earn a shirt, but doesn't know how to obtain it.

                                                                                              And don't get me started on the fact that none of them have a website in their profile.

                                                                                              I would be honored to clean this board of the filth that seems to have landed here this past month but I don't think that's up to me.

So the best method of defence at this point is just ignore them, they will eventually go away.

                                                                                                                      Lens - An idea I just had, you should make it so that someone cant start their own thread until they reach a certain number of messages, say 75 or 100. I think this would cut down on a lot of the problems.

Maybe not allowing them until 75 posts is the best, but I think something should be done.

                                                                                                                                      and I think that that is the real problem here, there are too many people making posts that have no clue what it means to be a webmaster. Maybe a better screening tool for signing up, but I dont think that the AP people want to be doing that.

                                                                                                                                      And its just not a matter of putting people in their place as you mentioned, because what happens when you have a lot of shitty posts going up is that good, informative posts get pushed down and never read, as I believe RedShoe mentioned above.

But shit, this board has alot of good stuff in it if people would just look instead of asking the same fucking questions over and over and over and over and over. That is why you see posts like the one juicy made about posting to the hun everyday and putting more banners on your gallery page.

                                                                                                                                          Part of being succesful is trying things for yourself, instead you see posts like "list me your top tgps" or "tell me your best coverting sponsor". Like I am just going to fucking tell you, a stranger, what took me a long time to figure out. I will point you in a direction but don't ask me to out and out tell you what exactly I do to make a living so that you could copy it and then I have to go and try something else. I gotta eat too.

                                                                                                                                                                      Pimplink, there was a sense of community, but the board is changing. I think half of these newbies aren't even webmasters. They fill out no profile, they start stupid threads just to get a shirt or win a DVD player. I agree with Redshoe. I hardly read anything here anymore. It's like being in high school. I'll bet half of these guys aren't even old enough to visit an adult site, never mind running one.
                                                                                                                                                                      Because of the domain name, this board gets a lot of type in traffic. Little teenage boys find us and then act like the children they are.
                                                                                                                                                                      What everyone seems to forget, is that this is a place to exchange ideas about our business. Yes, we have fun, but the bottom line is our work. If you see an asinine post, and you notice the poster has no profile, THEN DON'T REPLY TO IT! All you do is encourage them. These people contribute nothing to the community, they have no business being here. If someone feels they are a legitimate adult webmaster, they have no reason not to fill in a profile. it's a way of letting the rest of us know you do belong. Like DirtyHo. Who are you? Why do you feel the need to be anon? I saw one guy put his homepage as this site. This should be an indication people. You need to consider the source before you start responding to these people. If they're legitimate adult webmasters, they'll let it be known.

AWI was the best place to be around a year, or a year and a half ago... then the good guys that learnt together and got bigger started helping people out, making other people big, and then we got swept away by newbies... now, mostly all the good 'Ol people of AWI are gone... now the young blood is there, it's still OK, but not as it was before...

                                                                                                                                                                                      a board is a place to learn about new stuff, news, and just chat about stuff... but with it being invite only, it makes it hard
