I absolutely love Holland, it's perfect! And I do mean that. I visited there June of 2001 and had the time of my life, I was in Amsterdam by the way. A friend of mine lived there, and I've never had as much fun as I had there. The people are absolutely friendly. I rode a bike everywhere, went to the market and bought fresh fish and bread, not like our bread, but actual bread right out of the oven. I also fell on my bike a few times, Im clumsy. There are all cultures in one place so it's very diverse. I smoked some very fine pot, daily. I had a blast. The guys are hot as hell! The girls are magnificent looking. I had whiplash by the time I went home. Nick I tell you I'm thinking about making a mandatory visit real soon so you guys be prepared.

But I was referring to taxes and regulations on starting a new company, they even limit you how many days you can stay open, hell even building a house is a nightmare from what my friends tell me that live there.
But I still like it for a week at a time. I don't know how I could handle living there permanently though. I'd try it, but I would probably lose or piss off my customers.Comment

Although taxes are high, regulations really aren't that bad. If you are the sole owner of your business, you can start an "eenmanszaak", which only requires a short registration with the chamber of commerce and semi-formal book-keeping.
