Are you moving all your servers from Montreal?
Or will you still have a foot in Canada?

No hosting operations will remain in Canada (Montreal).

We are only taking development of our websites (Adult Dating, Affiliate Program, etc...) to Costa Rica =)

Thus we are only 4 people moving there (upper management), we will hire employees there however we'd like to find a solid CTO, something I believe will be very hard to find in Costa Rica.

Okay, okay...so perhaps I should have said "Fluent in English"...Think of it as a fun bonus question, point out the error and earn a free point on your application =)

As for worrying about how Casinos have gone broke in Costa Rica, we're not worried about that at all.

The sites have been around for almost 7 years now and have been making profit since the first few months. All without investing any money in advertising.

Our main focus in Costa Rica will be to solely focus on these sites (including building a strong internet marketing team); in Montreal our focus was split between numerous projects including hosting which is very time-consuming.

As for the benefits, well personally I am going more for the women than the tax breaks....but like someone said, why choose one or the other when you are getting both =)

I'll probably be spending every weekend in Jaco or Hermosa (beach / surf towns) as we have beachfront property there that will be converted into a hotel.

As for more details about Costa Rica, I think there is another thread on here someplace that has more details. Just search for it =)

took 26,000 dollars to buy the land and build it by hand.

Yeah that's probably the cheapest way. Buy the land, then pay the workers over there and you can end up with a damn nice beach house for a fraction of what buying one would cost...
