shockingly enough I've seen a few that did look like that, but it's pretty rare, gotta be there EARLY in the morning when the bay is glassy...
look 'right' behind the top of the wave, you'll see how glassy the water is...

Just seeing that pic made me shit myself. I am absolutely terrified of sharks. Before going on vacation I check out if there are sharks kicking about in whatever sea I will be closest to......
Seriously I aint shitting about this. I have a terrible fear of them. In Mandalay bay aquarium thing I was shitting myself walking through the tunnel at the shark tank to get to the exit!Comment

As an old time Bonzai pipeline surf freak, sharks scare the heck out of me.
Did some scuba diving in the Barrier Reef (Australia) 20 years back and a baby great white (only 4 ft) got my foot through my flipper...shook me like a rag doll. My partner jumped on his back and killed him...saved my ass.
Don't go diving or surfing where there are great whites anymore.
Big scar on my foot is a good reminder.
