In addition conventional bombing (fire bombs) killed more that the nukes did.

In the attacks of 9/11... some 3,500 (?) were killed, following a dead count of tens of thousands of iraqis alone, the actual civilist casualty count being somewhat fuzzy in that area since the US striked back.

Think how many Iraqis we would have killed if they had done anything wrong. Other countries had better think twice before getting on our radar.
