One month old baby girl is gonna die

Here in croatia, one 1 month old baby girl has to go to london for surgery ASAP, its a matter of hours to get her on the plane and save her life

To all of you fuckers that doubt my intentions here, i dont care.. If risking a few bucks ($1 plus intl fees) going into someone pockets is more important to ya than the chance of saving a babys life.. well think about yourselves being in such situation...

To all of you that want to hepl, call this number please

This is one case where you can make a difference, and its not survival of the fittest but of the ones who can afford medical care abroad.. and that sucks ass IMHO.. Its easy to say stuff like that when you are fine, but at some point of every life something terrible happens.. Do you see yourself saying survival of the fittest then?

As from what I could understand in croatian, that lady told me I can't dial that number from abroad. Special numbers like toll free or donating mostly work only within particular country.

Sorry, not to sound like a cold hearted bitch, but this sounds like something that happened on an episode of ER.

I'm sure there have been other terminally ill infants and children in Croatia, what makes this case so dire and special that it has it's own donation hot line?

I'm probably one of the most charitable people there is, but I am also one of the most skeptical, especially after 8 years of email chain letters.

However, I just met a gal from Alabama in Jackson Square earlier this evening. She told me that she'd been ripped off for all her money and her ID the night before. She had a check from the government in her mailbox in Montgomery and all her belongings were in a locker at the bus station.

I could:

(1.) take her in as a rooommate and/or possible lover, pay for her way back to Alabama and she would share the checks with me as they came in,
(2.) give her enough money to cover the fees for the locker rental at the bus station and she'd pay me back later,
(3.) or just donate a cigarette and some spare change for the cause and she'd remember me forever.

Only problem with her story was I'd heard the exact same thing a week earlier from another street person.

Successful scams do get repeated, I guess...
