ROFL, Van Nuys is not the most scenic place to live I'd imagine, but the property values are probably still pretty reasonable.

as far as movies, they shoot movies here all the time. ive even had my apt complex on lockdown due to film trucks lining my streets and courtyard filled with fucking actors practicing lines ;)
they are always filming Americas Most Wanted here hahaha they use the streets of NoHo and burbank all the time in scenes from what I see.

I live here and love it.. lots of plam tress, 15 mins away from everything, 24 hour taco bell, 24 hour western bagel, more 7-11's then you can shake a stick at.. but there are shootings, like this one 3 apt. buildings down from me a couple of weeks ago.. only 1 person was killed
