Yout get a lot more info about a gallery out of a 90x120 then you can with a 88x88 of just the chicks face.

Use 1 x 1 pixel, so your visitors don't know what they can expect when they click, so they click more and your productivity is gonna increase

the surfer like click big pic.

I have 88 by 88 on some of my sites and it works fine. I think you might get more clicks though with larger size thumbs.
