Neither are responding to TA's repeated messages and emails. For those that don't know, TA is a very good designer, she did work for these design brokers, and she has not been paid for that work and has been kept waiting for over 6 months now.

Traci Daily of liquidbydesign originally struck the deal with TA for her work, but from what I'm hearing it is Pensfan (aka Bucknaked) that has taken over management of this part of Traci's business. Teen Angel's emails are being ignored from them as well.
I can't believe that people do business this way.
Broker (hungryman, bucknaked, traci etc) get's a work order for $1000
Broker farms out the work to an actual designer for $500
Designer does work
Broker sells work to client.
Client pays $1000
Broker then does what?......... broker keeps the whole $1000?

Designers, wake the fuck up and stop doing business with design brokers. It is obvious from hundreds of posts over the past 3 months that these brokers are taking credit for YOUR work and are either paying you a fraction of what your work is worth or they don't pay you at all.

Any business that has been around more than a month should have enough money to pay for services rendered. Especially at a fucking 50% clip. I would be happy to sell a grand worth of work for $100 profit. Sounds like a great deal to me. And get this, I would pay up front to someone I trusted to do the work.
I'm not saying everyone doesn't need help from time to time. If you are having a bad month fine. FUCKING DEAL WITH IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Worst case, at a 50% freaking clip for doing what, next to nothing, you could have at least offered to pay half of what you owe, explain the problem, and make arrangements to pay the rest. I don't know Teen Angel but I would think she would have taken $500 up front if you had been honest about it. If she said no then too bad for you. PAY HER.
