Who would attend an Adult Expo in Australia?

A good friend of mine (Resolute) suggested that we consider hosting an Adult Expo here in Australia

Can you imagine doing a show down under, and be able to not only network with your peers, but also:

- Dive the great barier reef

- Scale the Sydney Harbor Bridge

- Go outback with the Kangaroos and Koala's

- Cruise the Red Light District of Kings Cross

- or experience any of the other great things our country has to offer?

And our currency is so fucked, it costs stuff all to really enjoy yourself

So c/mon people. Who here would come to an expo like this?

That sounds like a kick ass idea. We have been asked to do the same thing in Oz and had a great response when we posted about it on many boards a few months ago.

If I did host an Australian Expo for the INdustry (and not just a Sexpo - which is pretty cool btw), what would be the nest month to do it in (as to not clash with any other major events etc)

I once sat in a plane from LAX to Sydney next to Resolute, and I can assure you that I would have far preferred to sit next to a sexy and intelligent woman than that old queen

And take my advice sweetums, you dont need Valium - do business or first class and stay drunk the entire way - that always works for me

It just have to be on the Goldcoast I think Sydney would be the only other option. Goldcoast has the right things for a convention like this would be ,plus its cheaper than dirt right now.

we've been approached to do a show liek this already and have already begun doing all our homework re: venues etc etc

We too thought Sydney was the best place, as the convention center there would be a great venue and its close to everything.

if there IS going to be one on the gold coast then the organisers want to make sure they dont do what the last guys did - and organise it for the same week as schoolies

thats why it was cancelled at the last moment:
a conservative queensland government would have gone ape shit and the press would have had a feeding frenzy if they found out a convention of porn webmastes was in town the same week as all the 16 & 17 year old school leavers

The last time I flew back from the States it took me 52 hours .. that was with a forced stop in Vegas (coming from Washington) and missing my Singapore connection .. so yeah, a 30 minute drive to the Goldie would be much more to my liking
