You have a great sense humor. Most people in the PI are without any income at all. Those who are lucky to get a job don't care about the wage or laws about minimum payments as they are happy to be able to support their family. I think the minimum payment by law is 180 pesos a day. If they work 25 days a month it is 80 $ monthly, only. Yes, there are some well payed jobs for highly skilled people in the expensive Manila areas like Quezon or Makati, but these are limited to an elite group of the population.

I am not putting the PI down, I just look at it beyond the small Makati community. Just look in my profile and you know where I am located. I also have an appartment in Makati close to P. Burgos street, but go there maybe once or twice a month, only. The girl from the pizza delivery makes 4800 pesos a month (90$)for 10 hours of work every day in Makati, the security guard in my building gets 9000 pesos, my (Manila) girlfriend who works as a waitress at Hardrock Makati makes 11000 a month including tips. I could go on with this list and it is very hard to find people that have jobs that pay better than 10000 peso (90$).

Average payment in the Ukraine is far less than 100$. A freind of mine is a doctor in a hospital. She is supposed to get 60$, but they usually are late about 6 months in making payments .... so she is happy if she gets payment at all.
